Terms and conditions of sale

Courtesy translation. This English text is provided for your convenience. The contract and these terms are governed by French law, and only the French version (Conditions générales de vente) is legally binding. In case of any difference between the two versions, the French version prevails.

Version dated 15 October 2026. These terms apply to every DrimEvents service, and section 16 to the digital wedding invitation.

Why this page exists. These are the clauses of your contract, published in full and before you sign anything. You can read them, print them, have them checked. The contract you will receive reproduces them word for word, completed with your date, your venue and your package.

1. Purpose

DrimEvents (DJ DRIM), whose registered office is in Vitrolles (13127), provides musical entertainment services for weddings and private events: sound, lighting, MC hosting and stage effects, according to the package chosen. The client is a private individual acting for non-professional purposes.

2. Quote and acceptance

Each quote is personalised and valid for 30 days from its date of issue. No date is held during this period: availability is only guaranteed upon payment of the deposit.

Signing the contract — by hand or electronically — constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these terms. The contract is sent to you before any payment, so that you can read it in full.

3. Price, deposit and balance

Prices are stated in euros, inclusive of all taxes, and correspond to the package and options set out in the quote. DrimEvents is not subject to VAT on its services (Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code); where applicable, the relevant wording appears on the invoice.

Mileage costs beyond the area included in the package are calculated automatically from Marseille and appear on the quote before signature.

4. Additional hours

Each package includes a number of hours of entertainment stated in the contract. Any additional hour requested on the day is invoiced at the rate stated in the contract, payable on the spot before the entertainment continues. Additional hours agreed in advance are, for their part, included in the agreed total.

5. Cancellation, postponement

5.1 Cancellation by the client

Sums paid are paid by way of deposit and cancellation fee, and not as earnest money within the meaning of Article 1590 of the French Civil Code. Consequently, and except in cases of force majeure as defined in 5.2:

The 30% deposit remains the property of DrimEvents, whatever the date on which the cancellation occurs, including several months before the event.

This rule is not a penalty: the reserved date was removed from the calendar as soon as the deposit was paid, and every enquiry received for that day was turned down. That time cannot be recovered.

5.2 Force majeure

The following are regarded as cases of force majeure giving rise to a refund of the deposit: the death of a parent, brother or sister of one of the spouses, serious hospitalisation, and an administrative measure prohibiting the event from taking place. The situation shall be substantiated by any supporting document.

5.3 Postponement

Rather than a cancellation, a postponement within a period of one year may be requested, subject to DrimEvents' availability on the new date. The deposit is then retained in full and credited against the new service.

5.4 Cancellation by DrimEvents

If DrimEvents cancels the service other than in a case of force majeure, all sums paid are refunded to the client within 14 days, and DrimEvents calls upon its professional network to propose a replacement of equivalent standard on the same date.

6. Interruption of the service

DrimEvents reserves the right to interrupt the service immediately and to leave the premises, without refund, retaining the sums paid, with the remaining balance still payable, in the following cases:

7. Equipment

The equipment remains the exclusive property of DrimEvents. The client is responsible for it throughout the duration of the service, from unloading to reloading. Any destruction, theft or damage caused by the client, their guests or a third party present on the premises is invoiced to the client at new replacement value.

8. Continuity of the service

The service is provided by two team members, present for set-up, entertainment and dismantling, named individually in the annex to the contract. Each has full command of the entire service and can provide it alone: should one of them be seriously prevented from attending, the other provides the whole evening, with no additional cost and no change to the agreed terms.

9. Client's obligations

The client undertakes to provide suitable access to the venue (parking nearby, access to electricity, an unloading point), to send the technical sheet and playlists within the time limit set out in clause 10, and to pay the sums due on the agreed dates.

10. Technical sheet and playlists

A technical sheet is sent by email after payment of the deposit. It lists the highlights of the day and the running order, and includes free-text fields for your musical tastes, the artists you would like and the tracks that must on no account be played. Completing it is compulsory.

It must be returned, together with the playlists, at least 7 days before the event. This time limit is not a formality: tracks are downloaded and prepared in advance, because reception venues very often have no usable network coverage. A track that has not been prepared cannot be retrieved on site. After this time limit, DrimEvents no longer guarantees that all the requested tracks will be played and provides its own selection, suited to the audience.

For the same reason, no request for an addition made on the day of the event is guaranteed.

11. Changes and options

Any request for an additional option or a change to the contract must be made in writing (email or WhatsApp) at least 30 days before the event. An annex is then added to the contract, to be signed and paid for in addition.

12. Liability and insurance

DrimEvents holds professional civil liability insurance, the certificate for which is provided on request. It cannot be held liable for damage related to the quality of the electricity supply provided, to weather conditions during an unsheltered outdoor service, or to the behaviour of a guest beyond its control.

13. Image rights

Unless written objection is made before the event, DrimEvents is authorised to film and photograph its service — equipment set up, general atmosphere, the couple on the dance floor if they are willing — for promotional purposes on its professional channels. Nothing is published without blurring recognisable third-party guests. You may object at any time, by simple email.

14. Personal data

The data collected (identity, contact details, information about the event) is used exclusively for the performance of the contract and for its legally required tax traceability. No transfer to third parties. It is kept for 5 years after the service; invoices are kept for 10 years, in accordance with the law. You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection, by writing to contact@drimevents.com. Supervisory authority: CNIL.

15. Complaints, mediation and disputes

Any complaint should first be sent to contact@drimevents.com. We undertake to reply within 15 days.

In accordance with Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may have recourse, free of charge, to a consumer mediator with a view to an amicable resolution. You may also refer the matter to the European online dispute resolution platform.

Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute may be brought before the competent court. As a consumer, you retain the right to bring the matter before the court of the place where you live.

16. Digital wedding invitation

DrimEvents also offers, to any private individual, a digital wedding invitation: an animated invitation, composed in the site's studio, published at its own address and accompanied by a reply form for guests.
